The Ao Nang Sea Front Thai Resort is halfway down the Beach Road in the center of Ao Nang. Part of the Ao Nang Sea Front Thai Resort calls itself a hotel the other part a guest house. To me it all looks like a guest house rather than a resort. The rooms are built very close to one another as are the balconies. You would not want to sit out in the evening enjoying your private balcony with your neighbour being so close.

Ao Nang Sunset is situated at the end of Ao Nang on the main road towards Nopparat Thara Beach. It is a 5 mins walk to Ao Nang beach and a 15 mins walk to Nopharat Thara Beach. Ao Nang Sunset is a neat guest house hotel but the pool is far too small for the amount of rooms also the balconies should have been built a bit bigger. Shops and restaurants are just around the corner.

The Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort is located at the center of Ao Nang. The rooms all have a small balcony but the pool is too small for the amount of rooms. The rooms offer all the amenities you would expect from a four star resort.

The Sea Star Guest house on Ao Nang beach road is a neat guest house with 10 rooms. Restaurants, nightlife and shopping opportunities are close by. However the rooms are too expensive considering the Sea Star Guest house does not have a pool.

Ao Nang Beach Resort is just in the center of Ao Nang on the Beach front Road. If you cross the road you are right on the beach. Long-tail boats going to the various islands are also moored on this part of the beach. Ao Nang Beach Resort is under Thai-Finnish Management. The rooms are clean and equipped with fridge, aircon and hot shower, just what you would expect from a three star hotel. The Standard rooms at Ao Nang Beach Resort do not have balconies and as they are quite close to one another the atmosphere is a bit claustrophobic. The Swimming pool at the Ao Nang Beach Resort is located in the backyard and is not really inviting.

Ao Nang Princeville Resort is located on the Beach Road. The rooms at Ao Nang Princeville Resort offer all the amenities you would expect from a 4 Star Resort. The Spa at Ao Nang Princeville Resort offers treatments at reasonable prices.

Timber House Resort, situated on the road between Ao Nang and Nopparat Thara has a motel character to it. The rooms are very close together and do not leave space for privacy. The Timber House is mostly frequented by Scandinavian package tourists.

La Venice is situated opposite Ao Nang beach in the heart of the Walking Street. The spacious rooms all have balconies, aircon, tea making facilities, hot shower and safety boxes. The restaurant offer a wide selection of Thai, Italian, Mexican and Japanese cuisine.

Chaba Bungalows, located outside the center of Ao Nang, is a pristine bungalow site with bamboo and brick bungalows. The Restaurant offers Thai food and the friendly owners will assist you with tours and motorbike rentals.

Krabi Forest Home Resort is a bungalow site just before the bridge to Nopparat Thara. The rooms are built close together and offer little privacy. The detached bungalows are bigger. The rooms all feature hot showers and those with aircon come with a fridge. The beaches and restaurants are within walking distance.

Krabi Resort is a big Resort at the end of Ao Nang Beach. You can choose between rooms either in the 2 storey Hotel Complex or the detached bungalows. The central location and the quiet part of the beach invite you to linger a bit longer. Krabi Resort is family friendly. The direct beach access makes up for the rather small pool.

Lavinia Guest house is located in a small lane parallel to the beach road. The aircon rooms are clean and have hot shower and fridge.

The L Resort is located right in the middle of Ao Nang Beach Road. The Resort is ideal for individual trevellers who want comfort. The L Resort is under Swiss Thai Management. Upon the friendly reception each guest is provided with and I Pad that can be used throughout the resort and with the L App you can easily book room service, massages, travels and tours during your stay. The L Resort has different categories of rooms, however all feature minibar, aircon hot water and safety boxes. The pool with its comfy deck chairs invites you to relax. Order your favourite drink or snacks at the pool bar. The Restaurant is called Wanna ´s place and offers Swiss and international food along with excellent Thai cuisine. The imported steaks and lamb- dishes served on a hot stone are mouthwatering.

Guitar is located in the same building as The Venice. Down by the beach in the little Plaza, right at the corner of the beach road. The rooms all come with aircon, hot water and private balconies.
