The new luxury resort, Sita Beach Resort & Spa occupies a large area on the southwest of the island on Pattaya Beach. Amidst a tropical garden with palm trees a choice of various bungalows and villas are situated. They include Pool View, Sea View, Beachfront, Honeymoon and Family Suites. The room amenities include air-conditioning, satellite TV, safe, mini bar, fridge, coffee maker and terrace. Restaurant, beach bar, spa & massage, and swimming pool. The most expensive bungalow right by the beach has a music bar as its neighbour which does not close before 4 am. The staff at the reception is not really up to ite job. The breakfast buffet gets a clear thumbs down.

They are set in 4 rows, very clean and equipped with double or twin beds. The staff are not very friendly. Large seafood restaurant on the beach. Diving School, Ocean Pro is next door.

Blue Tribes Resort consists of several spacious en-suite bungalows and four 2-storey houses which are located either on the beach or in the garden. The resort is managed by the friendly Italian anthropologist Luca from Parma; since the tsunami he helps the Chao Leh and lives on Koh Lipe all year round. Lipe Resort (aka Leepae Resort) is a large place with various bungalows that are set closely next to one another. Guests can choose between Garden View, Beachfront and Family Bungalow. All are equipped with private bathroom, air-conditioning, fan and TV. Large restaurant, bad service, arbitrary bills. Every day we heard about false information regarding the room rates and boats. 24-hour electricity, expensive and unreliable internet shop next door. Dive Center Starfish Scuba Diving, credit cards are accepted.

Forra Dive Pattaya opened in January 2011. It offers spacious and well-designed bamboo bungalows, some of them with partial sea view. The new bungalows feature a large bathroom, fan, balcony with hammock and 24-hour electricity. There are family bungalows as well, suitable for up to 5 people. The Italian-run Pattaya Song Resort is situated at the western end of Pattaya Beach. Many simple concrete and wooden bungalows with bathroom, fan and balcony, are partially on the hill overlooking the sea and on tall stilts above the rocks. The footpaths leading to the bungalows are not well developed; beautiful view of the bay. Clean restaurant "Pattaya Seafood" with large TV screen and high sound level, friendly yet overworked staff that serves more delicious spaghetti than rice dishes. Managed by the Italian Stephano and a Chao Leh family. Boat trips, fishing trips and kayaks are available.
