Tawan Resort (ตะวัน รีสอร์ท) (ThungWuaLaenBeach) Rates: 700 to 2,000 Baht             Tawan Resort (also Tha Wan Resort) is very popular among kite surfers and divers. In co-operation with the neighbouring dive and kite school Nereides they give discount for these people. There is a good restaurant, unfortunately it closes at 9 pm. The menu offers excellent choices and inexpensive prices, very delicious sea food dishes and Thai dishes, fruit shakes, spaghetti and American breakfast. During the weekends many Thai tourists and students visit Tawan Resort and at other times mainly Western tourists. All rooms and bungalows are equipped with aircon, TV, fridge and hot water. Seabeach Resort (ซีบีช รีสอร์ท) (ThungWuaLaenBeach) Rates: 300 to 800 Baht     Seabeach Resort does not have a sign in English, it is still easy to find. Just between “To Tee Restaurant” and “Sabai Sabai” Bar at the northern end of the beach. There are several new, large concrete bungalows (with sea view, TV, fridge, hot water) in a beautiful garden with many lovely plants. The owners, a young, very nice family, don’t speak much English, nevertheless the communication is working well!
