Our Vision
t-Globe intends to become the most well known online travel guide for Thailand. t-Globe provides the user with the most recent and most detailed information, such as services and precise maps. t-Globe is made for travelers who want to get to know Thailand from within.
Richard is Head of t-Globe. He is of German origin. After university he worked as an instructor and teacher in IT. He started to travel extensively, found his passion for becoming a travel writer, and researched for over 20 travel guide books and numerous travel maps. He settled in Thailand in 2000, built the bungalow resort Sita Garden in Khao Lak, and developed the idea of t-Globe.com, the online travel guidebook and community of tourism business owners.
Nok – Head of Marketing
She is of Thai origin and based in Khao Lak. After her degree in Marketing she worked for different Thai print medias before joining the t-Globe team.
The Khao Lak Team Khun Ids is Richard´s Personal Assistant and always helpful to the rest of the team. Her husband Tom is in charge of photos, videos and various administrative work. Tarn is a part time marketer who works together with Nok in all major projects. 15 freelancers produce maps, take pictures, write reviews and translate into four languages. On the IT side t-Globe gets support from Jud and Nakkid.
The Bangkok Team The Bangkok Team of byCreation consisting of 5 dedicated app programers under the guidance of Ett and Banks does the web and App programing and design.
The German Team Last not least, our German programing team is led by Gerd, a veteran IT, server and SEO manager.
The Northern Team
Sandra is the specialist for Krabi and the ancient Lanna Kingdom.
She is based in Chiang Mai after having spent many years in Krabi.
She researches together with her husband and works as a writer and editor for t-Globe. She is also involved in customer relations and marketing.
Sandra also coordinates the finetuning of our translation process for our 4 website languages.
