Krabi International Airport (code KBV) is about 45 kms from Ao Tha Len. You can either take a taxi or use the shuttle service of one of the accommodations.

Bangkok Airways (PG) flies to Bangkok and Koh Samui (only in high season)
Air Asia (AK) flies to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur
Tiger Airways flies to Singapore during high season.
By Bus
Public buses leave the bus station at Talad Kao close to Krabi Town. Take a hotel shuttle service or a taxi to Talad Kao.

By Minibus
Minibuses also called minivans go to all tourist destinations in the south. Book your ticket at the front desk of your hotel. Our tables show the departure times from Krabi. Generally these minivans depart from most other destinations at 8 and 11 am. Fares and travel times are the same for the opposite direction.
By Train
Trains run from Surat Thani (Phunpin Station) to Bangkok.
Connecting buses leave from Krabi bus station at Talad Kao.
Take a taxi to Talad Kao or ask at the hotel travel desk for shuttle service.
Alternatively take a minibus to Surat Thani train station, tickets can be booked at the reception of your hotel.
By Boat and Ferry
Some boats, such as the Ao Nang Princess, sail to Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta from Nopparat Thara Pier.
The boats to Hat Yao and some of the speedboats to Phuket also leave from there.
Just take a taxis or ask the hotel to take you to Nopparat Thara Pier.
Longtail boats sail several times a day from Ao Nang or Nopparat Thara to Rai Leh, they wait for a minimum of 6 passengers.
All other boats and ferries to various destinations leave from the Passenger Port near Krabi Town. You can either take a taxi or a hotel shuttle bus to the pier.
