The village of Klong Muang has steadily developed over the last couple of years, luckily it is lacking the typical aura of mass tourism. It is a nice and quiet place to spend your tropical beach holiday. Klong Muang beach can be split into three parts.
The beach usually referred to as Klong Muang stretches from the little sala at the fisherman's village to the Nakamanda Resort. The small bay south of the Sheraton is also part of Klong Muang. The long stretch of beach North of Nakamanda to the pier is called Koh Kwang but is also referred to as Klong Muang. The beach at the Sheraton is best for swimming as there are only few rocks in the water. During High Tide all three sandy beaches are suitable for swimming.
