Dato Farm is 8 kms north of the city, located at a branch of Phetchaburi River. The Dato Farm is a
fish and coconut farm in a small Thai village, managed by Thomas Krey; 4 rooms with mosquito net and fan situated in a teak house together with the family; all-inclusive (accommodation plus all meals). The chic Blue Sky Boutique Resort painted in shades of blue features cozy bungalows and rooms, most of them enjoying sea view. They are situated in a well tended garden with small fountains and many frangipani trees - the entire resort is characterized by lovely details. The luxurious VIP-rooms consist of two rooms, large panorama windows and a veranda with deck chairs. The Thai management speaks English very well but the staff only a little. Nevertheless they are very friendly and committed. Wi-Fi and American or Thai breakfast is included in the room rate. The pool near the beach is stylishly designed as well as the massage sala with sea view. The restaurant is open from 7 am to 5 pm, there is no menu in English language, but it offers an excellent cuisine.

The very new Baan I-Un Hotel is situated in the North of Hua Hin in a quiet lane 100 metres from the Petchkasem Highway. The 30 rooms are on 5 floors all with air con, well furnished and very clean. The rooms at the Ban I-Un Hotel are very good value for money. Breakfast is extra for an acceptable 70 Baht,including really good coffee. Car parking is available.

Prinz Garden Villa is a small Hotel & Restaurant in the south of Hua Hin. On the lower floors it has 8 clean rooms and 4 spacious family rooms suitable for guests in wheelchairs. On the top floor are 2 very spacious apartments (3900 Baht). All rooms are air-conditioned.

Sun Beach Guesthouse is a small boutique hotel in oriental style. It is situated right at the beach promenade and offers nice views over the bay of Prachuap Khiri Khan. The immaculate rooms are nicely furnished and individually air-conditioned. From the small pool the bay is visible.

Tawan Resort (also Tha Wan Resort) is very popular among kite surfers and divers. In co-operation with the neighbouring dive and kite school Nereides they give discount for these people. There is a good restaurant, unfortunately it closes at 9 pm. The menu offers excellent choices and inexpensive prices, very delicious sea food dishes and Thai dishes, fruit shakes, spaghetti and American breakfast. During the weekends many Thai tourists and students visit Tawan Resort and at other times mainly Western tourists. All rooms and bungalows are equipped with aircon, TV, fridge and hot water. They are nicely furnished and the resort offers good service.
