In Ao Nang and Nopparat Thara several bars and pubs open until the early hours of the morning. During high season some of these places play Live Music. 'The Soi' next to Somkiet Buri Resort has numerous girlie bars.

Along the dirt track leading to the beach - opposite McDonald's- various bars have been established.

The night hawk will find all kinds of bars in Center Point on the Ao Nang Beach Road. Center Point is home to many bars on three floors. The most popular bar is Chang Bar on the ground floor with happy hour on mixed drinks all night long.

KR Bar on the third floor has live music regularly and a large outside seating area.

If you just want to have a drink or play a game of pool away from the center of Ao Nang go to either The Sanctuary or Moo 2 House.

Either location is ideal if you have a private party. Yao from Moo 2 House or Vishal and Vimal, the owners of The Sanctuary make the most of your event.

Along the road towards Krabi Resort Full Moon Bar, managed by Tom, serves the best cocktails in town. Tom also serves ice cold beer and sport events are shown on the telly. Nice Music.

At Absolute Bar, just before the bridge to Nopparat Thara Num, the friendly owner, offers cocktails and ice cold beers in a relaxed atmosphere. If you turn into Soi 8, You find Sue's Bar on your left. Laid back atmosphere, open until late.

Looking more for a Discotheque then Luna Bar at the beginning of Nopparat Thara Beach is the place to go. Some of the bars in front have escort services.

If you are into Reggae - Hippie Bar is the place to go. If you want it rather rustic, have a look at Lazy Bar in front of Noppharat Resort.
