Tipa Resort is in the center of Ao Nang. It is a huge Resort that expands over several hectares of land from down on the road up to the mountain top. The Tipa Resort has various categories of rooms. The rooms in the main building are newly renovated. The bungalows are also of different types; some are wooden, others semi-detached and the nicest ones are the Teak Bungalows on the top of the mountain. The pool is a bit too small for the amount of rooms.

Mee Me Bungalow in the center of Ao Nang is only 10 mins walk away from the beach. The area of Mee Me Bungalows is a bit cramped in between the neighbouring bungalows so cannot be recommended for people who like detached bungalows. At Mee Mee Bungalow you can choose between aircon and fan rooms, all rooms have a fridge and hot water. Mee Mee Bungalow is good value for money.

Nong Eed Bungalows is situated in the center of Ao Nang opposite McDonald's. The rooms have either fan or aircon.

Somkiet Buri Resort is located in the center of Ao Nang. However it is very quiet and peaceful as it is set back quite a bit from the main road. Following the bamboo lined alleyway to reception you enter a lush tropical garden. A small river runs through the nice restaurant at Somkiet Buri Resort. Ten rooms are located in one and two storey buildings around the pool. It is a 10 mins walk from the Somkiet Buri Resort to Ao Nang Beach. The Somkiet Buri is a neat Resort and good value for money. The Restaurant does not serve alcohol but you are allowed to bring your own. Ice Coolers provided.

The White Sand Resort is located right in the Center of Ao Nang in the same complex as Starbucks, Subway and McDonalds. The upscale guest house or rather hotel has a nice roof top Swimming Pool overlooking the ocean. The rooms are nicely decorated at the White Sand Krabi Resort.

The Krabi Heritage is a 4 storey hotel in the center of Ao Nang. The rooms are clean and offer all the amenities you would expect from a three star hotel. However, Krabi Heritage is missing some charm. The architecture is rather ugly so not very inviting for a long stay.

Ao Nang Orchid Resort is in the heart of Ao Nang only a stone's throw from the beach. The hotel is under friendly Muslim Management. All rooms at the Ao Nang Orchid Resort face the pool. You can choose between Deluxe Rooms or Bungalows. Ao Nang Orchid Resort has the largest speedboat chain in Ao Nang and offers tours to the surrounding islands.

The Peace Laguna Resort is located in the Center of Ao Nang only a stone's throw away from the beach. The Standard Rooms at The Peace Laguna Resort are located at The Veranda. The huge Peace Laguna Resort is situated on both sides of the river. The Peace Laguna Resort has two storey buildings, each containing one room on the upper floor and one on the lower floor. The bathrooms are Balinese style and the big porches are either overlooking the river or one of the three swimming pools. The rooms in the hotel wing at The Peace Laguna Resort are functionally furnished but do not match the flair and ambiance of the rest of the resort.

Full Moon House is a nice bungalow at the far end of Ao Nang sitting on a small hill in a lush tropical garden. Full Moon House has 2 pristine bungalows with fan and hot water and 8 Aircon Bungalows. Motorbike Rental, Travel Shop and Restaurant. Staying with Tom's family is good value for money. As it is a bit far out you should be mobile. However, taxis are passing regularly on the main road.
