Community Tourism started in Phang Nga Province in earnest in 2010 when over a dozen villages, islands and towns presented their touristic attractions at the season opening fair in Khao Lak in November 2010. Community Tourism intends to take part in the development of the natural attractions in the vicinity of the community and to share in the presentation of these attractions to tourists and tourist related businesses. T-Globe (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. actively supports these projects and gives these groups the opportunity to present their programs in the website www.t-globe.com.
These community tourism projects attended the fair in 2010: -- Taimuang - LamKean Ecotourism (Thai Mueang) -- Tublamu Navy Golf Course (Thap Lamu) -- Rommani (on the way to Khao Sok) -- Kapong -- Koh Kho Khao -- Ban Koh-Nok -- Baan Namsai Community Based Tourism (Lam Kaen) -- Takua Pa Old Town -- Bang Pat Homestay -- Kok Krai Community Tourism - KCT Group (Thap Put) -- Ban Sam Chong Homestay -- Phang Nga Community Based Tourism Network -- Koh Ra and Koh Phra Thong Islands -- North Andaman Community Tourism Network, which also includes Ban Lion on Koh Phra Thong (Khuraburi)
