Phuket International Airport is the third largest airport in Thailand. Here are numerous vacation flyers from all over the world. It is also the hub for southern Thailand. Countless airlines fly from Europe via Bangkok to Phuket. Codesharing does not always tell who you're actually flying with. Thai Airways flies once a week directly to Phuket (TG 927), once with a stop in Bangkok. There are direct flights to Phuket from Germany with Air Berlin (from Munich, Dusseldorf, Berlin Tegel) and with Condor.
fireflyz is a small airline from Malaysia. Fireflyz.com flies three times per week between Phuket and Penang in Malaysia. It is a convenient way to fly for getting a new one-year-visa for Thailand in Penang. Unfortunately the flight back from Penang leaves at exactly the hour when the new visa is handed over. So the passenger has to wait another 2 days in Penang or has to take the night bus home to Phuket at about 4 p.m. Tickets for the bus are sold in Chulia Street from various travel agents for differing prices.
Miss Beauty has her driving license for 8 years. She has been a taxi driver since 2017 between Phuket Airport and Khao Lak, first with a private car, now with a legal taxi. Miss Beauty has learned driving a taxi from her mother, Mrs. Pimmanee, who has been a taxi driver since 2008. She has also learned to become a very careful driver. She speaks only little English, but understands English quite well. The trip from Phuket Airport to Khao Lak costs 1700 Baht for 2 persons, 2000 Baht for 3 passengers. A night surcharge of 500 Baht applies from 20 hours to 6 in the morning (8 pm to 6 am). For 4 or more passengers she arranges the legal minibus taxi of Mr. Wat. The fare is 2500 Baht for 4 to 7 passengers. You can contact the taxi service from Amy Minne and Team, Internet Booking Service Khao Lak, by mailing to khaolaktransfer@gmail.com If the mail button at the bottom of this window does not work, please use the email address khaolaktransfer@gmail.com in your mail program directly. Thank you!

Phuket Airport Taxi Price List The rates of the taxis depend on the distance, of course. They are published on posters outside of the airport. The destinations and their rates are shown for a taxi (for 2 passengers), an SUV (for 3 passengers) and a minibus (4 to 7 passengers). The fare to Khao Lak is 1800 Baht, which in the reasoning of the limousine drivers means Nang Thong Beach only. As Khuk Khak is shown with 2000 Baht for a taxi, passengers to Bang Niang mostly have to pay 2000 Baht, because Bang Niang is a sub-village of Khuk Khak. If the hotel is situated at the beach, which it mostly is, the taxi drivers request an additional 200 Baht to take the passengers there. As it is not really fun to argue with taxi drivers, most passengers who come to Thailand for the first time, grudgingly pay this elevated fare of 2200 Baht. Pre-booked taxis from Khao Lak cost 1600 Baht for Nang Thong and Bang Niang, more for destinations further north.
Airport Car Rent (แอร์พอร์ต คาร์เรนท์) (PhuketAirport)
Airport Car Rent is ideally located directly opposite of the exit gate of Phuket International Airport. Airport Car Rent is open daily 08.00 - 21.00 hour. Airport Car Rent has more than 100 cars with many makes & models. For more than 10 years we have been using their cars and had always the best experiences with this company. Their service has always been excellent whenever anything unforeseen happened with the car, e.g. bringing a new battery to Khao Lak (80 km) free of charge. For rental of 2 weeks or more they give a substantial discount. For years we have been using the Nissan NV automatic for which we paid only 14000 Baht per month, about 11.70 Euro per day.
