Instead of using heavily trafficked H4 to the South it is better to leave Hua Hin on Chomsin-Thu Road to the west and then you drive on small countryside, but paved, roads in the direction south.
With a little bit of luck you will join back H4 only 400 m from the junction with the highway (KM 251). Now it is only a few more kilometers until Pranburi, where you turn at KM 254,3 to reach Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park (60 km from Hua Hin).
