Ao Noi Beach

At the northern end of the bay of Prachuap, a side road turns left to a fishing village (6 km) situated at beautiful Ao Noi Beach (by tuk-tuk 30 Baht).
As the beach is near to the city, a lot of flotsam and jetsam is washed ashore.
Behind the bay, on a tall rock, Khao Khan Bandai, Wat Phra That Khoa a monastery which is decorated with many shells is situated. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view. Then you can climb up 289 steps to the rock cave Tham Khan Kradai that houses a 16 m-long Buddha and many sitting Buddha images (you have to inform the monks downstairs to turn on the light).
Along a very flat bay you continue on a track further north that leads now all the way to Thap Sakae.
At Ao Noi Beach there are two small beach resorts in the center of the sandy beach.
