Krabi Town offers a wide selection of restaurants, cafes and food-stalls. The choice includes Western food and Thai food. Popular amongst Thais and tourists are the Italian Restaurants.
A must is the food market along the Chao Fah Pier, most vendors open their stalls at 17.00, they close at 22.00.
On Saturdays and Sundays many food-stalls can be found on Krabi Walking Street.

Thai Restaurants - these restaurants do not serve European Food at all
Rapu Seafood is 3 kms from the center of Krabi Town. The locals like this restaurant, which has a wide choice of seafood and duck dishes. You sit in a sala built on stilts. Theres a small river running through the restaurant.
Bantoey Restaurant near the Krabi River just before the Marina, has a lovely sunset view. The Restaurant offers authentic Thai Cuisine, especially fish and seafood dishes. Also non fish eaters find a good choice on the menu, i.e. Mo Thod Bai Makrut (fried pork with kaffir lime leaves) or Phat King Gai (stir fried chicken with vegetables and ginger). The staff speak hardly any English, however they are friendly and attentive.
Krua Ruan Suan is about 7 kms from Krabi Town, on the road to Ao Nang. It is a small Thai-Chinese Restaurant frequented by locals. Try the spare ribs with garlic and pepper.
Ruen Mai is on the road to Aonang. Hidden in a small soi towards the cliffs. The restaurant serves authentic Southern Thai Food. A must try is Yum MAkue, an eggplant salad and Yum Sod Ghood - an edible fern salad with dried fish and cashew nuts. Ruen Mai Restaurant is nicely decorated and open for lunch and dinner.
Viva Pizzeria is a famous meeting place amongst expatriates in Krabi. Renato, the Swiss owner offers Pizzas, home-made Pasta and a fine selection of wines. Attentive and friendly staff.
Cafe Europa is an institution every resident knows in Krabi. Finn and Henrik from Denmark, create a familial atmosphere in this small restaurant. They serve Danish specialties such as herring and also Thai Food.
Fang Fang is a Thai Bar with loud live music and good food, frequented by Thais, packed at weekends. If you want to spend your night as Thais spend their evenings out then Fang Fang is the place to go.
