There are public buses (Bus78) and Minibusses (996) from Bangkok's New Southern Bus Terminal, also known as Sai Tai Taling Chan locally, (Pinklao-Nakhonchaisi Road) to Samut Songkhram in Ratchaburi province.
Aircon bus 78 starts at 6 am at intervals of 20 minutes. The trip takes about 2 hours and it costs 64 Baht. The last bus leaves at 21 hours. Get off the bus at the Choeng Saphan Thanarat Market. At the market, you can take a Songthaeo to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market which takes another 1.4 kilometer.
In addition, you can travel by other buses, such as Bangkok-Ratchaburi, Bangkok-Phetchaburi (Old Route), and get off at Bang Phae Intersection. Then, take a songthaeo for the Bang Phae Intersection - Damnoen Saduak Route, which departs every 10 minutes.
By Minibus
Minivan 996 from Sai Tai leaves every 30 Min. also from 6 am until 21 hours for 80 Baht, it takes about 1 1/2 hours.

From the provincial capital Ratchaburi minivans or songthaeos take about 1 hour to get to Damnoen Saduak. They leave from Sathani Rotfai Road near the junction of Kraipet Road.
With your own car
From Bangkok, you can travel to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market by 2 routes:
Route 1 (red color): Drive along Petchkasem Road (Highway 4), passing Bang Khae, Rose Garden, Nakhon Chai Si, and Nakhon Pathom. After you arrive at KM 83, turn left at the Bang Phae Intersection and drive along Highway 325 for about 25 kilometers. Cross the Thanarat Bridge and go straight on for 200 meters then turn right and go ahead for 1 kilometer.
Route 2 (green color): Drive along the Thonburi - Pak Tho Route (H35), a distance of 63 kilometers. Turn right into H325, passing the town of Samut Songkhram, then drive on H325 for about 12 kilometers. The entrance to the floating market is ahead of the Thanarat Bridge for 200 meters. Turn left and drive on another 1 kilometer.
From Ratchaburi use the road H3003 due east to Damnoen Saduak.
From Phetchaburi take highway H4 and turn east into Highway H35 at Pak Tho junction.
