From Chumphon there are busses and aircon vans, passing Lang Suan on their way to Surat Thani. The same vans pass Lang Suan on their return trip.
From Ranong
From Ranong there are aircon vans to Surat Thani every hour passing Lang Suan on the way.
From Ranong there are also aircon busses twice a day via Ratchakrut and Phato passing Lang Suan.
From Surat Thani
From Surat Thani it is a good option to come by the very cheap 3rd class train. There are 3 trains in the afternoon reaching Lang Suan more than an hour later.
From Chumphon trains are not an option as they travel late at night.
From Krabi, Phuket and Koh Lanta
From the tourist centers along the Andaman Coast from Phuket to Satun it is most convenient to take the minivan from Fame Tour heading for Chumphon and simply alight at Lang Suan junction.
This list shows the destinations and fares for minivans leaving from Chumphon. For the opposite direction the same fares and travel times apply, and the departure time depends on the destination. They are locally displayed by most travel agencies.
From Bangkok direct
There are more than a dozen aircon busses from the Southern Bus Terminal in Bangkok heading for Lang Suan.
