The boat from Ranong to Koh Phayam leaves every day at 09.30, 14.00 and 16.00. It takes about 2 hours and costs 200 Baht. There are different companies doing speedboat service leaving Ranong at 09.00, 10.00, 11.30, 14.30, 16.30 and 17.00. The speedboat trip takes about 40 minutes and the ticket costs 350 Baht. All boats arrive at the new, 200 m long pier in the village of Phayam on the east coast. Taxi mopeds are waiting on land and offer transport to the resorts without much ado. Depending on the distance they cost 60 to 150 baht. The luggage is taken on the moped. Only for large suitcases, a small trailer can be used.
