Located under huge old casuarina trees, Chang Tong Bungalows is a well-established resort offering a range of accommodation from simple wooden huts to attractive wood bungalows. There are 15 bungalows with attached bathroom, some of them family bungalows with large veranda and European bathrooms. The restaurant at Chang Tong Bungalows features a large menu with Thai and European dishes and it is very famous for its German cuisine. Large portions at regular prices. Sabai Yai (also Sabay Jai or Sabayjai) is a well-run place located in large grounds. It offers 16 beautiful wood bungalows on the beachfront and on the hillside as well.
Mrs. Gaew takes very good care of her guests. Many seats and places for relaxing on the beach and under shady trees. Sabai Yai provides a lovely decorated restaurant with excellent food. Small shop, Thai massage (350 Baht/1 ½ hour, on request).

The popular Koh Chang Resort offers a choice of 18 hillside bungalows in various sizes, all with private bathroom, large verandas and sea view. The restaurant enjoys a great view of the bay as well and it is famous for seafood, especially for the fresh fish from their own fish trap. The female owner Kae creates a very welcoming atmosphere and she speaks English very well. Large area for relaxing, small shop, tattoo shop, internet (1 Baht/min.), Thai massage (300 Baht/1 ½ hour), fishing trips and island tours available.

Paradise Resort is located in a beautiful bay with sandy beach. It consists of 10 wood and bamboo bungalows in various sizes, only the cheapest ones have shared bathrooms. All with sea view and right on the beach where there is often a nice sea breeze. Paradise Resort is managed by a friendly couple, Pee Jim and Pee Nee. The restaurant offers besides western food an interesting choice of various Thai dishes worth to try (“Kau Gung Gabe”, “Gai Kaprao”). The beautiful and very well-maintained Sawasdee Resort is located on a nearly white sandy beach comprising 9 comfortable wood bungalows under shady trees in a well tended garden. All are equipped with tiled western bathrooms, chairs and hammocks on the large veranda, towel supply. Sitting area and seating for relaxing are set around a garden with nice sea view. The friendly couple Fon and Nui take very well care of their customers and both speak fluent English. Sawasdee Resort provides an open air restaurant with creatively decorated tables made of solid wood as well as sitting area inside with cushions. It is a popular place with a large choice of excellent Thai and western dishes, especially recommended is “Masaman Curry” (for vegetarian with tofu, very delicious!). Beach chairs, Burmese massage (200 Baht/hour).
Behind the resort there is a small dirt path leading to the bakery and to the village (20 min. walk).

Nature View is set in a tropical garden on the hillside, very natural and shady, there are 6 large wood en-suite bungalows in various sizes, enjoying beautiful views from their spacious verandas. They are equipped with private bathrooms, tables, chairs and closet. From the hillside, steps leading down for access to the sea. Nature View is managed by Lek and her Canadian husband Kornelis. Seen from afar there is a three-storey building which hosts the restaurant. From here you can get an excellent view of the whole bay. Famous for homemade mango and cashew wine. On the ground floor there is the first herbal steam sauna on the island. Appointments on request, preferably Wednesdays from 12 am to 5 pm, 100 Baht per person. Nature View is mentioned in the Eco-Tourism Book from the EU and the Thai government because it is totally run with solar and wind energy.

Crocodile Rock is a beautiful, characterful and very well-maintained bungalow resort in quiet location at the end of the beach. 10 bamboo bungalows with thatched roof, hammocks, near the beach or on the hillside and all enjoy an excellent view of the sea. Several seating for relaxing and tables for eating dotted in the well tended garden. Crocodile Rock is managed by Mr. Tonn who is very friendly. He offers genuine hospitality and he speaks well English. The small and cozy restaurant is famous for its Espresso, homemade bread and cakes, homemade yoghurt and many salads. A gifted wood carver and painter is creating his art works here – the artistic highlight of the island! Small pier offering easy access for swimming – or fishing.
