Luang Poj Boutique Hostel, a beautifully restored 140 years old building right on the main road, just opened in January 2011. It offers an exclusive ambiance with nice decoration and consists of 8 rooms that are painted in different colors. All are equipped with fan or air conditioning, double bed, bed side tables and large mirror. However, there is no private bathroom and only the two front rooms facing the street have windows, the others are windowless! The shared bathrooms come with several very clean showers and toilets, sinks and large mirrors available as well. The manager Mr. Lew is very friendly and speaks little English. Travel bookings and reservation for accommodation on Koh Chang and Koh Phayam available.

The b Ranong Trend Hotel has been designed in a very modern style. The hotel opened in 2011, and has a swimming pool and restaurant on the rooftop giving you a good view of Ranong. The pool and restaurant should be completed in 2012. You can order breakfast at reception in the meantime. The rooms are furnished with very good quality furniture and fittings and the designer paid a lot of attention to detail, such as ample sockets that allow laptops and all types of cameras to be recharged. The staff are very happy to show you around this unique hotel.

Next to the b Ranong Trend Hotel there is a snooker club with a bar belonging to the hotel. There are 6 snooker tables, one of them in a private VIP room.
