Chumphon is the hub of transport for the South. There are all types of transport available to get to any destination from Hat Yai in the South to Bangkok. Chokeanan departs from the Air con Terminal in the center of Chumphon. The Transport Co. departs from the new Bus Terminal 11 km west of Chumphon.

Very convenient are the minivans from Fame Tour departing right in front of his restaurant and guesthouse in the center of Chumphon every day at 8.00 and 13.00 hours. Especially for groups is the minibus service of Kiat Travel, departing in Tha Taphao Road very close to guesthouses and central hotels.

Historically almost all trains to Chumphon arrive in the night and thus depart in the night. If you book a sleeper you can sleep quite comfortably and save on accommodation. Most travellers arrive relaxed and are ready for the sights and attractions of the new day.
If your destination is south of Hua Hin, better take a bus.
