Rocky Beach (Ao Thian Ok) The private Rocky Beach is secured by a gate and only pedestrians and registered vehicles are allowed to enter. At the western end is a well-tended garden with turkeys and guinea fowls. Beach chairs and umbrellas are managed by the Beach Bar. The 200 meter long sandy beach is interspersed with coral chunks. At low tide the whole bay is covered with dead corals and a lot of rubbish. Swimming is only possible during high tide just left and right of the bizarre, round rocks. You can snorkel in front of the coral reef (equipment for rent at the beach bar), but the visibility is not very good. Black tip reef sharks can be often seen.
