Sincere Guesthouse is centrally located in Ban Saladan, close to to passenger pier. The rooms at Sincere guesthouse are nicely decorated and all come with TV, en-suite bathroom and hot shower. The guests can choose between aricon and fan. One dorm is available for a maximum of 4 persons equipped with two bunk beds. The view from the cozy restaurant at Sincere Guesthouse over the ocean and towards Lanta Noi is very nice. A balcony over the water allows guests to fish.

Lanta Leaf Boat is ideal for the individual traveller who likes his peace and quiet. Lanta Leaf Boat has four nice bungalows in a huge area of land, more bungalows are under construction in 2012. The Catfish is located on the water in Ban Saladan overlooking the ocean. The Catfish is not only a restaurant, it also is a bookshop that sells and buys used books. Souvenirs are also sold in the shop. The Catfish Restaurant serves Thai and international food. At Catfish we can highly recommend any type of sandwich; falafels are also served. Staff are very friendly and attentive. A perfect place for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Leaf House Restaurant and Bar offers Thai and European Food at reasonable prices. They have various daily specials at The Leaf House. The ambiance at Leaf House Restaurant and Bar is very laid back. Billy the Kid, the friendly owner, is helpful and has good English. The Leaf House Bungalows are located in Phra-Ae.

Mr. Pizza does very good Pizzas in Saladan. The restaurant is nicely decorated, the friendly owners Paul and Alex speak good English and are very attentive. The kitchen at Mr. Pizza closes at 22.00; however the restaurant with the nice bar corner remains open for drinks until late. Free WiFi for customers.

The Safety Stop belongs to Koh Lanta Diving Center, located next to Saladan Health Center. It is a Coffee Shop Restaurant and when the dive boat returns you find many divers enjoying their 'decompression drink'. At Safety Stop you can enjoy fresh coffee, mixed juices as well as cold beers and mixed drinks.

Lanta Seafood Restaurant is built on stilts and overlooks the ocean and Lanta Noi, the island opposite. From 17.00 fresh seafood is on display and can be ordered and cooked to your liking. I recommend ordering a fish steamed in Lime Sauce, a crab in Curry Sauce and prawns with garlic and pepper. Lanta Seafood Restaurant is open all day long and Thai food and European snacks can be ordered any time.

The Frog is located on the small road leading to the pier. The Frog has a beautifully decorated interior and relaxed seating area upstairs and a secluded garden for dining on sunny days and warm evenings. The Frog offers the finest Fusion Food. Children's portions from the menu are available. The Frog has its own wine cellar with an extremely large choice of wines from around the world. At the rear there is parking and access to the garden part of the restaurant for people in wheelchairs or baby strollers.

The Town Restaurant and Bar, formerly Corner bar, is run by a friendly Thai called Sayan who has excellent English. Very good Thai food at reasonable prices. Try Pad-Si-U-Nuea, which is a noodle dish with beef and vegetables. Mixed drinks, cold beers and wine are served. The restaurant has a comfortable ambiance, the seating is surrounded by lovely plants and the decoration is mostly done with seashells.

Nong Cat is a Thai and German Restaurant. Set back from the bustling main road in a beautiful garden, Nong Cat Restaurant offers tasty Thai food and some European delights. Daily Specials and occasionally BBQs just watch out for the black board next to Lanta Pharmacy. Kerstin, the friendly owner has been on Lanta for more than 12 years, so if you need any hints do not hesitate to contact her.

Koh Lanta Diving Center is a 5 Star CMAS Diving School under German Management. Christian Mietz founded the first dive base on Koh Lanta 15 years ago. He and his team teach diving in many languages.Koh Lanta Diving Center also offers Tec Dive Courses. PADI certificates are also handed out.
