The small town Khok Kloi is an important traffic junction for buses from Phuket heading north as far as Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Ubon Ratchathani, to the east to Surat Thani or to the south as far as Hat Yai. The giant flower Rafflesia is fairly easily accessible from Khok Kloi with a guide by motorcycle from the village tourism community of Mu 10. Natai Beach with four first class hotels is nearby.

The beautiful Watkao Waterfall (or Watkhao Waterfall) is situated in the north of Khok Kloi. Access is through the temple gate of Watkao. You can drive about 2 km further north into lush green hills. The road ends directly below the large swimming pool formed by a dam under the cascades. On weekends, local families come to enjoy a day out. Above the road is a restaurant with salas serving inexpensive food. Signboards tell that high above the waterfall there are Rafflesia flowers that can be reached easily with the help of a local guide from the village tourism community.
Andaman 360 Degree View Point (อันดามันวิวพอยท์) (PhangNga)
The Andaman View Point is situated at the road from Khok Kloi to Phuket. There is an access road on the left about 1 km south of the new Khok Kloi Bus Terminal. The view point boasts a 360 degree view of the surrounding landscape and the channel between Phuket and the mainland. A kiosk on the top serves some snacks and drinks. Accommodation is available in a few modern-style bungalows.
Rafflesia in Khok Kloi (บัวผุด ที่โคกกลอย) (PhangNga)
To see the giant Rafflesia in the mountains of Khok Kloi, you have to get information from the Kamnan of Moo 7 first. If a Rafflesia is in bloom, you are up to an adventurous trip off road by motorcycle, not for the faint at heart. The trip goes up for half an hour, then a not too strenuous walk for another twenty minutes. There are always several blossoms in various stages of bloom. Only for 7 days a Rafflesia is in full bloom, then the flower becomes black and soon disintegrates.
Amanita Farm is situated halfway between Phuket Airport and Khao Lak beside Petchkasem Highway two kilometers north of Khok Kloi. On the farm the spectacular Dragon fruit are grown besides other tropical fruit. Elephant Riding is available exclusively for bustours of Chinese tourists travelling with JSR. There are also a few monkeys and a herd of goats. On July 23, 2015, the female baby elephant Naam Fon was born. With a good distance the mama allows visitors to take pictures.
