Rock Paintings (Khao Khian) (เขาเขียน ) (PhangNga) Khao Khian is a cliff overlooking the sea where there are prehistoric paintings of various kinds of animals on the cliff face. A study by the Department of Fine Arts has indicated that these paintings are over 3,000 years old. They are assumed to have been painted by sailors who moored their ships here to take shelter from the monsoon. Khao Khian is a part of Phang Nga Bay National Park.
