Thung Maphrao

Thung Maphrao is situated 12 km south of Khao Lak. Here the road H4240 to Kapong District turns off.
In the village Ban Na Nai nearby a bamboo manufactory produces bamboo furniture for the businesses in Khao Lak.
At the end of this village the German funded "Beluga School for Life" was established after the Tsunami in order to give orphans a new chance for education. The school was lately renamed "Hanseatic School for Life".
There are only few Attractions in Thung Maphrao
