Khu Khut Waterfowl Park (อุทยานกน้ำคูขุด ) (Songkhla) The park was established as a non-hunting area on 19 April. 1976. It covers an area of 227,916 rai (91,166 acres) including both Songkhla and Phattalung Provinces. Khu Khut Waterfowl Park is part of the Thale Sap Songkhla or Songkhla Lake. A survey undertaken by the Royal Forestry Department identified 44 families, 137 genera, and 219 species of birds. The best period to view the birds is from December to March. Khu Khut Waterfowl Park (Thala Sap Songkhla Non-hunting Area), is situated at Moo 4, Tambon Khu Khut, about 55 km from Songkhla on H4083, and 3 km from the highway. |
