Khao Kao Seng (เขาเก้าเส้ง) (Songkhla)

Khao Kao Seng, dotted with large boulders one of which is on a rock, is one of the most beautiful beaches of Songkhla. The locals call it Hua Nai Raeng.

It is said that underneath this boulder there used to be treasure stored by the people as offerings to the Buddha relics contained inside the Nakhon Si Thamarat Chedi. Their trip was delayed by high seas and the treasure was believed to have been buried here.

Khao Kao Seng is located about 3 km to the south of Hat Samila. It can be reached via the road to the National Coastal Aquaculture Institute.
