Beyond Krabi Resort is located between the Sheraton and Nakamanda. For those of you who have been to Klong Muang before, the Beyond Resort has been rebuilt form the Andaman Holiday Resort. Beyond Resort is a modern 5 Star Resort and the high rise building on the beach combined with the grey of the walls does not seem to fit into the landscape. However, the imposing lobby offers a great view over the Andaman Sea and the swimming pool along the beach is huge.

The Check Inn Resort in Klong Muang opened its doors to the public in November 2010. The rooms are located in 2, two-story buildings set back from the road. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the beach. This hotel should be booked via agoda.com, as the prices quoted for walk ins and on the website are far too high.

The English owned and managed Krabi Sands Resort is located by the river in Klong Muang. The Restaurant of the Krabi Sands Resort is directly on the beach, whereas the spacious bungalows of the Krabi Sands Resort are on the opposite side of the road built around the swimming pool in a nice garden.

The Coco Nori is a modern 3 story Guesthouse in Klong Muang, a five minute walk from the sandy beach of klong Muang. The rooms at Coco Nori are nicely furnished and have a small balcony overlooking the limestone mountains. People who are sensitive to noise may be bothered by the lorries passing the Coco Nori on their way to the Pier at the end of Kow Khwang. The roof top Bar at the coco Nori is a lovely spot to watch the sunset over the ocean.

The Naga Peak Boutique Resort does not have a restaurant and as it is not close to the center of Ao Nang so your own vehicle or motorbike is recommended. This place is ideal for individual travelers.

Naka Mountain View Resort is a small bungalow site located 2 kms outside of Klong Muang. The bungalows come either with fan or air con. The newer air con bungalows also have a fridge and hot shower. Enjoy the view of the karststones from your private balcony. The Muslim owners serve breakfast and rent motorbikes. As the Naka Mountain View Resort is outside the center of Klong Muang, being mobile is an asset.

Pine Bungalow is located directly on the beach at Klong Muang on the road leading to the Royal Residence, about 5 minutes drive from the center of Klong Muang. The bungalows definitely need refurbishing and they are not worth the price. The unique setting of Pine Bungalow makes up for a lot though. Hot shower's are only available in the air con bungalows.
