Dawn of Happiness is a rustique Bungalow site on the beach of Ao Nam Mao. The Bungalows either have fan or air con, but none of them have a hot shower though. Internet is free of charge. Nut, the owner organizes Tours, Taxi Services, Motorbike Rentals and Massages. The bungalows are all set in a lush tropical garden and the chairs and cushions on the beach invite to linger longer. The Restaurant serves Thai and European Food at reasonable prices.

Krabi Tropical Beach Resort has direct access to Ao Nam Mao Beach. A small and cozy place with a small pool. The Standard Rooms are facing the road and the Deluxe Rooms are overlooking the ocean. Internet in the Lobby is free of charge. A family room can also be booked. The friendly staff are happy to help booking tours, motorbikes etc. The beach just in front of Krabi Tropical Beach Resort is not suitable for swimming during low tide and the pier at Ao Nam Mao is close so there may be noise disturbance due to long tail boats.

The Diamond Cave Hotel is rather a Motel and located near the pier at Ao Nam Mao. The rooms are unimaginatively furnished but convenient. The restaurant is big and offers a nice view over the bay and the islands. There is no beach access as the mangrove forest is right in front. The Diamond Cave Hotel does not have a pool either thus this place is rather a place to stay for one night if you are on your way to Rai Leh or on your way back and need accommodation for one night.
