Red Ginger Hotel in Moo 3, Soi 8, opened its doors in 2008 and calls itself chic-hotel. It a a non-smoking hotel. The rooms are spacious and have either pool or street view. All rooms have balconies and offer all the amenities you would expect from a 4 star resort. Some of the rooms have direct pool access. It's a 10 minute walk to Nopparat Thara Beach. The Restaurant at Red Ginger offer buffet dinner during high season for 300 Baht. All in all the room rates are too high.

The Apasari Krabi is located at Moo 3 on Soi 8 and looks like all the neighbouring hotels that have opened there since 2008. The Apasari Krabi offers 4 Star comfort. The rooms on the ground floor offer direct pool access. The constructions opposite should be finished by High Season 2011. The beach is about 15 mins walk. Restaurants and bars are also within walking distance.

The Aree Tara Resort is one of many hotels in Soi 8 and looks just like the neighbouring resorts. It is a 10 minute walk from the beach. The Aree Tara Resort is crammed in between the neighbouring resorts and thus the rooms and the pool hardly get any sunshine.

Mercure Deevana Resort is one of many 4 Star Resorts in Soi 8, Ao Nang. It is children friendly and the closeness to both Ao Nang and Nopparat Thara Beach is an asset. The Resort offers various room types, some have direct pool access and all the amenities you would expect of a four star Hotel.

Centara Anda Dhevi Resort & Spa Krabi opened in 2011 and is conveniently located in Soi 8, along with other 4 Star Hotels. The Resort offers various kinds of rooms and also honeymoon suites of 92 sqm. The Resort features a nice swimming pool, kids corner, pools bar, and a restaurant that offers international and Thai specialities. Prices at the nice Spa start at 800 Baht per hour.

The Best Western Ao Nang Bay Resort is only 10 mins walk to Noppharat Beach or Ao Nang Beach. The Best Western Ao Nang Bay Resort is a typical Four Star Hotel with a lush tropical garden. The rooms at the three storey building face the pool or the garden. The restaurant seems to be a bit small for the amount of rooms. The Ao Nang Night Market and shops are only minutes away.

Krabi La Playa Resort at the lower end of Moo 3 is only 5 mins walk from the beach. The Krabi La Playa was one of the first bigger hotels in Ao Nang. The rooms in the 4-storey building offer all the amenities you would expect from a 4 Star Hotel. The rooms on the ground floor have direct pool access. The Restaurant is not really inviting.

Krabi Thai Village Hotel is in the center of Moo 3 and offers all you would expect from a 4 Star Resort. The Krabi Thai Village Hotel has two Swimming Pools and 2 Restaurants offering Thai and Western Cuisine. It is about a 10 mins walk to the beach, but a free shuttle service is also offered. Restaurants and food stalls are nearby.

The Pakasai Resort is only a few minutes walking distance from the beach and the center of Ao Nang and situated at the lower end of Moo 3. Pakasai Resort offers all you would expect from a Four Star Resort. Due to the many trees in the garden the rooms are a bit dark and carelessly furnished. The Swimming Pool on the first floor terrace is just made to watch the sunset and sip a cool drink. The room rates are too high for what is offered at Pakasai Resort.

Palm Paradies Resort is about 20 mins walk from Nopparat Thara Beach. The Resort was opened in 2009 and keeps a nice familiar atmosphere despite its size. You can choose between rooms in the 2 storey main building of Palm Paradise Resort or one of the bungalows spread out in the garden. All rooms are nicely furnished and offer all amenities of a 3-4 Star Resort. For the season 2010/2011 noise disturbance is to be expected as many construction projects have been launched in this area of Ao Nang.

The Pavillion Queens Bay Resort in Ao Nang can be seen from far away. The view from the 6th floor roof terrace of Noppart Thara Beach, The bay of Ao Nang and the islands in the Andaman Sea is stunning. The rooms at the Pavillion Queens Bay Resort are quite spacious and they are furnished in Lanna Style with wooden floors and Lanna style decorations. The three swimming pools at The Pavillion Queens Bay invite you to relax. The Pavillion Queens Bay offers a free shuttle service to either Nopparat Thara or Ao Nang Beach. However it is only a 10 mins walk. Despite the nice location the rooms are too expensive.

Krabi Resort is a big Resort at the end of Ao Nang Beach. You can choose between rooms either in the 2 storey Hotel Complex or the detached bungalows. The central location and the quiet part of the beach invite you to linger a bit longer. Krabi Resort is family friendly. The direct beach access makes up for the rather small pool.

The Golden Beach Resort is one of the three resorts directly on the beach. The Golden Beach Resort offers various categories of rooms either in the main building or in detached bungalows. The restaurant facing the ocean offers Western and Thai Food and a lovely view over the nearby islands. The Golden Beach Resort has three massage parlours that offer massages at reasonable prices.

The L Resort is located right in the middle of Ao Nang Beach Road. The Resort is ideal for individual trevellers who want comfort. The L Resort is under Swiss Thai Management. Tipa Resort is in the center of Ao Nang. It is a huge Resort that expands over several hectares of land from down on the road up to the mountain top. The Tipa Resort has various categories of rooms. The rooms in the main building are newly renovated. The bungalows are also of different types; some are wooden, others semi-detached and the nicest ones are the Teak Bungalows on the top of the mountain. The pool is a bit too small for the amount of rooms.

Somkiet Buri Resort is located in the center of Ao Nang. However it is very quiet and peaceful as it is set back quite a bit from the main road. Following the bamboo lined alleyway to reception you enter a lush tropical garden. A small river runs through the nice restaurant at Somkiet Buri Resort. Ten rooms are located in one and two storey buildings around the pool. It is a 10 mins walk from the Somkiet Buri Resort to Ao Nang Beach. The Somkiet Buri is a neat Resort and good value for money. The Restaurant does not serve alcohol but you are allowed to bring your own. Ice Coolers provided.

The Ao Nang Cliff Beach Resort is located in the center of Ao Nang. Just above McDonald's. It is a 2 min walk to the beach from the Ao Nang Cliff Beach Resort. The view from the pool over the limestone karsts is spectacular and once inside the resort you forget that you are right in the middle of the bustling center of Ao Nang. The rooms are nicely furnished, and come with aircon, mini bar, kettle and safety box. The rooms at the Ao Nang Cliff Beach Resort are well insulated and with the windows closed you will not hear traffic in those rooms facing the main road. Ao Nang Cliff Beach Resort offers a nice gym and children's paradise as well as free internet in the lobby area. The massage salas are really inviting and you can get massages at reasonable prices (THB 300 per hr). The room rates include breakfast.

Phu Petra Resort is a newly opened resort (09/10). The location of Phu Petra is very quiet as it is set back about 3 km from the main road towards the limestone karsts. The large bungalow suites are nicely furnished and offer all the amenities you can expect from a 4 Star Resort. The Shuttle Service to the beach is free. The quite high room rates at Phu Petra are by no means justified compared to the beach front resorts.

Krabi Cha-da Resort at the end of Ao Nang, is a big hotel. Spa facilities can be provided in your room. Due to the architecture it is very dark and the atmosphere in the restaurant is also not very inviting. Krabi Chada Resort offers a Shuttle Service to the Beach and to the center of Ao Nang. The prices are far too high for its location.

The Peace Laguna Resort is located in the Center of Ao Nang only a stone's throw away from the beach. The Standard Rooms at The Peace Laguna Resort are located at The Veranda. The huge Peace Laguna Resort is situated on both sides of the river. The Peace Laguna Resort has two storey buildings, each containing one room on the upper floor and one on the lower floor. The bathrooms are Balinese style and the big porches are either overlooking the river or one of the three swimming pools. The rooms in the hotel wing at The Peace Laguna Resort are functionally furnished but do not match the flair and ambiance of the rest of the resort.
