Whereas in former times bamboo rafting was the most popular activity to go down Khao Sok River, nowadays travelers enjoy tubing, canoeing, and river rafting with rubber boats. All bungalow villages, resorts and tour agencies will be happy to arrange this activity for you.
Tubing
Many backpackers, travelers and tourists like to float down the river in an inflated inner tube. The best time for tubing are the months after the rainy season, that is December to January, and in the rainy season, of course. The trip starts next to the bridge at Khao Sok and under normal conditions ends at Tham Wararam, the Fish Cave.
Canoeing
For families canoeing has become a new MUST activity. The inflatable rubber canoes are built for two paddlers and some gear to take with them.
