Getting to Doi Inthanon

By Plane

Thai Airways, Air Asia, Bangkok Air and various other international Airlines fly to Chiang Mai Airport. From there, either take a taxi to Doi Inthanon, rent a car or a bike or ask your accommodation for pick-up service.

Scooters can be rented at Aya Services, their office is opposite the car park exit. Big bikes (650cc) and dirt bikes (250cc) can be rented downtown. Aya Services has scooters for rent. International Car Rental Companies are located at the airport.

Directions Chiang Mai - Doi Inthanon

From Chiang Mai take H 108 follow the signs Hang Dong, pass Hang Dong Village, the road becomes a four lane road and you just follow it until you see the signs Doi Inthanon, Chom Thong turn right and follow H1009.
The road will lead you straight to the Park´s entrance. Entrance Fee is 200 Baht per person plus the vehicle. Now you can follow the well built road up the the peak of Doi Inthanon.

C and P Motorbike for Rent is the best rental shop for dirt bikes and big bikes. CP the friendly Thai owner with good English rents Kawasaki Versys, Kawasaki ER 6 N, Honda CBR 500 as well as D Tracker and Honda off-road bikes. CP´s bikes are all in an excellent condition he is a good mechanic and knows his job. The off road bikes are 800 a day, whereas the Kawasaki's are 1400 and 1500 per day, depending on the duration of the lease. You have to leave your passport or pay a deposit of 20.000 Baht.
