Prasert Kongwutthiwet is an abstract painter.
He was very impressed of the hardships of the local fisherman who lost their boats during the Tsunami of 2004.
When new boats were built he visualized the light and colors in his paintings.

The Siam Gallery is a very beautiful tropical compound at the end of a quiet lane at Choeng Thale, just 2 km from Bang Tao Beach. The double houses are connected with an antique bridge leading to the studio of the artist, Prasert Kongwutthiwet. He worked for two years to finalize his dream of a perfect studio. Visitors can see his works in progress and a large selection of paintings from the last 10 years.
