From Chiang Rai take H1 North and then turn right into H1209 towards Chiang Saen. In Chiang Saen take a left and follow the road to the Golden Triangle. Alternatively you follow H1 further North and turn left onto H1290 you pass the Hall of Opium and get right into the village of Sob Ruak.
Buses - Minivans
Public buses leave from Chiang Rai to the Golden Triangle. Just check at Chiang Rai Bus Station.
Minivans leave from Chiang Saen and Chiang Khong to Sob Ruak
Songthaews
The samlors leave Chiang Saen, Chiang Khong and Mae Sai every hour during the day.
