Колонный храм (City Pillar Shrine) Сурат Тхани является душой жителей Сурат Тхани. Тайцы собираются здесь вечерами для поклонения. Для богослужений предлагаются цветочные ароматы с лотосом, ноготками, амарантом и свечами.

Лак Мыанг или городскую колонну можно найти в большинстве городов Таиланда. Как правило, колонна размещена в храме, который также считается домом городского духа божества Чао Пхо Лак Мыанг, который в почете и жителей города.

Колонный храм провинциальной столицы южного Таиланда Сурат Тхани расположен у реки Тапи, которая проходит через весь город Сурат Тхани. Он находится в центре площади с ухоженным садом и одетый в красивую белую каменную породу. Здесь повсюду можно увидеть фигуры слонов разных размеров.

Плавающий парк находится в центре Сурат Тхани и одно из самых популярных мест отдыха для местных жителей. Парк окружен множеством деревьев и является милым местом, где можно отдохнуть с семьей, почитать книгу или сделать пробежку. Здесь можно заняться сортом, например как, бадминтоном, футболом, игрой в петанк, баскетболом, такрав, имеются также фитнес-центры и детские игровые площадки.

Плавучий рынок Бан Дон В Сурат Тхани. Открыт по воскресеньям от восхода до заката солнца, множество магазинов, огромное количество предлагаемой традиционной еды: жаренной, варенной, приготовленной на гриле, пад тай чайя, бамбуковый рис, кханом кхо и кханом яак. Здесь царит атмосфера набережной. Рынок Бан Дон имеет ретро стиль с южной культурой.

Wat Tri Thummaram is located at 246/1 T.Talad A.Muang Suratthani. It is an individual definition of Maha Nikai.

Wat Pra Yok is the oldest temple in the city of Surat Thani.
It is assumed the temple was established around 200 years ago.Pra Yok temple was built in the early Rattanakosin period (reign of King Rama I) The Buddha image of the temple (this temple located under the tree named Khoi in front of a chapel) people nearby saw the Buddha image sway so that they called it Wat Phra Yok .

Myths from people who believe that at this temple One novice cleaned the temple and then he disappeared, leaving only a robe and the red blood stain were stuck at the mouth of the Buddha image. The mercury under the chin of the Buddha image react chemically with the texture of the metal and give the effect of a red liquid coming out of the chin the same as blood. Local people believed that this was because they hadn't paid enough merit.

Wat Pattaram known as Wat Mai is located on Pattanaram Road, Talat Lang, Surat Thani.
The history of a monk named “Pat” was to be ordained then stay at this temple,
Wat Phra Yok for several years until 1896, after returning from a pilgrimage with his teacher. He established the temple that local people call Wat Mai. The land was previously a graveyard. It is also home for wild animals such as tigers, monkeys, lemurs, snakes and rats.

Wat Samakkhi Phadungphan is located at 362 Moo 4, Tambon road Chonkasem Makhamtia. Muang Surat Thani. Belongs to the clergy of Thummayut division.
This temple was constructed on 31, October 1973 and the land was dedicated by Mr.Phun and Mr.Phadungwatcharaphon to the temple on 25 March 1998.

Wat Pho Thawas was established on 10 January 1787. It is located at 50 Baan Makhamtia, Wat Po road, T.Talad A.Muang Suratthani. Sangha Maha Nikai. With an area of 5 acres measuring 73.5 square meters 2 ngan. The principle Buddha image is in a temple lap 80 inches wide, 71 inches high, 80 inches. This Buddha image was established in the year of 1919.

Lao Pun Tao Kong is the goddess of peace, defense and trade. Lao Pun Tao Kong god is comparable to a chief god, it is a local god who watches over the people and protects them from hardship. You can see many of the shrines in the market and local residences.

Tai Hong Kong Shrine is located on Phakdi Anuson Road next to Suratthani Municipal. This shrine knows as well as Sattha Suratthani Foundation. There is Tai Hong kong as a master of the shrine, the importance of this foundation is renovation for the believer and to support the rescue volunteers.

Mercy foundation or shrine Khong Meaw is located on Donnok soi 33 it is the place where saveral Buddhism people come for practice. On the ground floor there is a statue of Khong Jue. On the first floor is the prophet of Taoism which is called Jee Kong, also is enshrined three of Buddha Prophets Sri Metteyya Trai, JeeKong Buddha, Prophet Chun Tha Ra Pun Ya, Gong Wu. There is also a museum Uttara Tham.

Chao Pae Kong Shrine is located close to the Polytechnic College, Surat Thani, was the vegetable gardener farmers respected very much in the past because this god has sacred on water or digging artesian well in the past.
